Hours after the official announcement by Grammy award organizers emerged online on Friday, 10th February, revealing the 2024 nomination list for the global music award, which will be held by on 4th February, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA.

In the shared list Nigerian top music stars made up the ‘Best African Music Performance category ‘, with one South African new sensational Singer.

  • Asake and Olamide for the song “Amapiano,”
  • Davido featuring Musa Keys for the song “Unavailable,”
  • Burna Boy for his single “City Boys,”
  • Ayra Starr’s for her single “Rush.”
  • Tyla for her song “Water.”

Reciprocating to the announcement by Grammy, Asake and Ayra Starr took the X, formerly twitter to share their heart felt appreciation for the global recognition.
