70-Year-Old Man Nabbed By Police For R@ping Physically Challenged Minor To De@th
A report recently emerged online, revealing how a 70 year-old man, Anthony Mgbenwa Okpara, allegedly forcefully had c@rnal knowledge of a 13-year-old deaf and dumb girl, leading to her death.
The incident took place on 23rd September, 2023, at Aborjieze village in Umuagu-Inyi Autonomous Community, in Oji River L. G. A, Enugu State.
The Suspect is currently now in the state police custody for investigation and prosecution if found guilty, while the victim’s corpse has been deposited to morgue.
Addressing the issue, a resident who pleaded anonymity, revealed that people are interested in the case to ensure that the deceased girl identified as, Uche and her parents who is not financially buoyant to take up the case gets justice.
In her words;
‘’She was sexuall¥ molested to the point that she lost her life immediately after the act.
The parents of the young girl are wretched and poor and the girl is a minor, deaf and dumb, at the same time, she is de@d due to this act. Mr Anthony Mgbenwokpara ran away immediately he got wind of the death of this girl.
However, after series of persuasions, he came and submitted himself to the police. Mr Anthony Mgbenwa Okpara and the family while in Police custody were using monetary inducements against the wretched parents. We are also suspecting that they will do the same with the Police.” she said.
