Pandemonium As Thugs Invade Atiku Abubakar’s Campaign Rally In Kaduna, Many Injured ( Video)
A few hours after the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ,Atiku Abubakar through his Twitter handle, complained about the harassment of his supporters in Zamfara state, his campaign rally in Kaduna State was been invaded by thugs.
As shown in the video embedded below, armed thugs invaded the campaign premises with machetes, logs of wood, and axes to harass those at the political rally.
In his reaction to the sad development, Atiku Abubakar appealed to president Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that such Politically motivated undemocratic move is stopped in respect to the presidential peace accord himself and other contestants signed a few days ago as well as necessary to ensure free and fair election in 2023.
“I have just received emergency reports of attacks on @OfficialPDPNig supporters by thugs sponsored to scuttle the ongoing PDP campaign rally in Kaduna State. This is undemocratic and against the Peace Accord all parties signed up for just a few weeks ago”, he tweeted.
“I urge President Muhammadu Buhari to call on all parties to call their supporters and members to order and to ensure that campaigns, just as with the elections themselves, are kept free, fair and safe. -AA”.
