“A lot of people will not believe this …..” Singer, Johnny Drille Spills More Secret

Popular Mavin Record signee, John Ighodaro professionally known with the stage name ‘Johnny Drille’ in a recent chat with actress, Iyabo Ojo talked about his love life.

According to the ‘Believe Me’ crooner, his wife, Rima Tahini was his first girlfriend, and they bought fell in love at first sight.

He revealed that due to the connection, he knew he will get married to her, and also didn’t hesitate to profess his undying love to her.

Johnny Drille said;

“The first time I saw her was at one of my shows in 2018. She was sitting in the front row next to a white woman. At some point, I thought both of them were white. She [Rima] is mixed race.

“So, when I was working on another show in Abuja, we got talking. We met in October and by January, I knew I was going to marry her. And I told her I was going to marry her. For me, it was deep conviction. A lot of people will not believe this but she was my first girlfriend. I never had a girlfriend before her. I married the first woman that I said ‘I love you’ to.” He said.

Recall that the singer’s relationship, and marriage was hidden to the public for a year, before his boss the Mavin Record CEO, Don Jazzy took to his socials to open up that his signee and Rima Tahini, an A&R executive with Mavin Records, were married.
