Tinubu is reported to have forfeited 460, 000 dollars to the US government in 1993; money which was adjudged as proceeds of drug trafficking.

Jeffery Guterman in his bid to validate Tinubu’s conviction report in the US, sought from FBI Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s crime records.

Interestingly, Jeffery Guterman has now revealed that in response to his request, FBI stated that his request did not follow the required administration steps to seek such a piece of information which might culminate in an infringement on the privacy of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He however promises to re-strategize so as to accommodate FBI administrative requirements before making another request of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s file.
