Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s eligibility to contest Nigeria’s presidential election has become questionable following report of his drug-money forfeiture conviction in the United States of America in 1993. Tinubu is reported to have forfeited 460, 000 dollars to the US government in 1993; money which was adjudged as proceeds of drug trafficking.

Jeffery Guterman in his bid to validate Tinubu’s conviction report in the US, sought from FBI Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s crime records.
