Breaking: Naira Marley Has Been Arrested, Details Of How He Was Arrested Also Revealed

Azeez Fashola widely known as Naira Marley who is a strong suspect in the death of his former record label signee, Mohbad, has been arrested.

The Lagos State Police Command Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin revealed via his  X (formerly known as Twitter) handle that Naira Marley is in the police custody for purpose of questioning and investigation over the death of Mohbad

“Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities…” he tweeted.

Recall that Naira a few days ago revealed that he was willing to honour the police invitation if the the Nigeria Police Force is willing to guarantee his safety amid accusing fingers of Nigerians at him.  He had also through his Instagram page released a statement in which he denied being responsible or knowing about any plot to murder Mohbad. Speculation has it that Naira Marley had sneaked out if Nigeria to Europe to avoid mob action against him

The two prime suspects in the death of Mohbad, Sam Larry and Naira Marley are currently in the Police custody while Nigerians await the result of the autopsy carried on the remains of Mohbad.
