Hours after the Trace Music Award was over, a video emerged online showing the moment, Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as, ‘Davido’ stepped to the stage to receive an award as “Best Male Artist” at the event.
In the video the singer was dancing while approaching the stage to receive the award, his speech was not clear as his fans were jubilating when he was called.
In the event, Nigerian singer, Rema also clinched an award for “Song of the Year” with his hit song “Calm Down,” while Davido bagged two awards for “Best Male Artist” and “Best Collaboration.” categories.
The event was held in Kigali, Rwanda, on Saturday, 21st October. it is organized to celebrate African music artists, and those who contributed in the success story of the Industry.
