Davido’s Female Ex-Signee, Liya Makes Shocking Revelation On Why She Left DMW
In a recent chat with ‘Echo Room’ podcast, DMW’s female ex-Signee, Abdulsalam Suliyat Modasola, better known with the stage name, ‘Liya’, gave a hint on the reason she left the record label.
Recall that the singer, made headlines on traditional and Online media in 2020, after she got signed by DMW music boss, Davido.
However, despite having few hit songs during her time with the record label, she decided to leave considering the attention given to her career.
When being quizzed by the podcast host, if she decided to leave because the label did not pay much attention to your career?
She accepted that one of the reason she left was due to her belief that, she was not receiving the attention and support she needed to push her career further.
Though still in good terms with the label but decided to start afresh, and create a new music trajectory for herself.
