Emmanuel Adebayo Chooses Between Nigeria And Togo At Jay Jay Okocha’s 50th Birthday (Video)
Ex-Togolese international and former Arsenal football club striker Emmanuel Adebayo has publicly declared that he is a true Nigerian despite his Togolese nationality.
Emmanuel Adebayo had played for Togo at the expense of Nigeria despite speculations about his Nigeria root. While speaking at African Stars event organized for Jay Jay Okocha who commemorated his 50th birthday, Emmanuel Adebayo revealed that his father whose name is Adeye Adebayo, also his mother, is a Nigerian.
He explained that his two parents had moved to Togo where he was born and raised. In his words, he is “a pure Nigerian”
