Fake Lawyer Nabbed After Winning 26 Legal Cases

The Law Society of Kenya (LSK), Nairobi Branch, took to twitter now known as, ‘X’ to share a report revealing how Kenyan authorities recently arrested a fake legal practitioner, Brian Mwenda, after he has been posing as a lawyer of the High Court of Kenya for years.

According to the report , before the arrest of Brian Mwenda, he posed as a legal practitioner and has successfully advocated for clients in 26 Court cases that was presided over by High Court Judges, Magistrates, and Court of Appeal Judges. Which he won all.

This was revealed after receiving many complaints on Mwenda’s credibility, the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), Nairobi Branch, decided to investigate about his legal status, before they uncovered the truth.

In the shared post on X by LSK Nairobi Branch, they revealed that Mwenda is not licensed to practice, and his credentials are fake.

It was further revealed that, Mwenda is currently under the Rapid Action Team (RAT) custody for further investigation and prosecution.
