WATCH VIDEO: Falz Narrates How He Almost Got K!lled By Armed Robbers

Popular Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana better known with the stage name, ‘Falz’, and his crew in a recent chat with ‘Untapped’, recounted how he was attacked together with his friends by armed robbers on an Abuja, highway.

The incident took place on 16th November, 2013, when they were traveling by road to attend a high-profile wedding, he was booked to perform at, in the Northern part of the country.

It was alleged that the singer was paid one million dollars by the client for his appearance and performance.

Though usually they board flight for long distance journey, but decided to hit the road because they didn’t purchase their tickets on time.

Before their movement, one of his crew member, who wasn’t pleased with the decision of taking the road, pleaded that they should pray before the journey begins, which they did.

Due to feelings by the crew member, he warned the driver about his driving style, and he promised to drive carefully, so they felt comfortable and slept off.

However, hours after the journey commenced, they woke up after hearing gun shots, and they saw some men with guns in the middle of the road; it appeared the had fired three shots at their car, with the third round hitting their driver in the eye, and he died during the incident.
