Federal Government Splurges N6.9 billion On Cars For Presidential Villa And First Lady’s Office

In a report published by PremiumTimes, the federal government has made a budget of over N6.9 billion to acquire new vehicles for the presidential villa and the Office of the First Lady.

In the new budget, N1.5 billion was meant to acquire new set of vehicles for the first lady’s office, N2.9 billion allotted to acquire a Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) for the Presidential Villa, and another N2.9 billion will be used to replace operational vehicles for the presidency.

It is also revealed that, the federal government also planned to spend N28 billion on the State House, while N12.5 billion on the Presidential air Fleet.

This is part of the N2.17 trillion Supplementary Budget president Bola Ahmed Tinubu sent to the National Assembly for approval.
