Festus Keyamo Speaks On His Certificate Forgery Allegation Against Bola Tinubu, Says It Was A Storm In A Tea Cup
Festus Keyamo (SAN), minister of state, Labour and Employment, who is also the spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, has defended his certificate forgery allegation against Bola Ahmed.
Festus Keyamo in 2002, filed a lawsuit against Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the then governor of Lagos, alleging that Tinubu was not qualified to be governor of Lagos State over his forged degree certificate.
Festus Keyamo in 2015, aligned with the APC whose formation was masterminded by Bola Ahmed Tinubu and which eventually ousted president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s administration. Hence, Festus Keyamo has since outset of the APC’s government, been a member of president Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.
He at present serves as the spokesperson of the APC presidential campaign council for the 2023 presidential election.
Since his appointment as the spokesperson of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential campaign council, the opposition party’s have frequently referenced Keyamo’s certificate forgery allegation lawsuit against Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2002.
Interestingly, Keyamo while speaking to Control Tv, admitted that he was involved in trying to unravel Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s certificate forgery allegation but further described it as a “storm in a tea cup”.
