Former president Olusegun Obasanjo humiliates Yoruba Kings at an event ( video)

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo taught some Yoruba Kings an unforgettable lesson at an event. The former president of Nigeria, expressed his dissatisfaction with some Yoruba monarchs who appear to have relegated their traditional positions.

In a video making the rounds on social media, former president Olusegun Obasanjo ordered the Yoruba Kings to stand up in veneration for him. He thereafter ordered them to sit as an illustration of how the Yoruba monarchs seem to have entrenched political position above their traditional positions.

The former president recounted how the revise was the case with him when he was the president of Nigeria. He stated that he postulated before monarchs as a mark of honour even as a president.

He further urged the Yoruba monarchs to hold their positions in high esteem as a means of maintaining and promoting the cultural heritage of the Yoruba rather than demean it.
