Governor Wike Finally Speaks, Accuses Atiku of Falsehood

The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike who is slated for a television interview in the coming days, has described Atiku Abubakar as a liar.

Nyesom Wike and the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) Atiku Abubakar have unsettled feud resulting from PDP’s presidential primary election and Atiku’s choice of a running mate at Wike’s expense.

The Reliant News had reported that five aggrieved PDP Governors comprising governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, Samuel Ortom of Benue state, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, and Nyesom Wike of Rivers State have given condition to Atiku which he must meet before they will support his presidential ambition.

An insider of Wike’s camp revealed that the five aggrieved governors demand the resignation of the PDP national chairman, Ayu and that Atiku must agree to go for a single term after which the presidency must return to the South.

Interesting, Wike has alleged that Atiku told so many lies about him during his interview on Arise Tv and promised to reveal the truth to Nigerians.

“Atiku Abubakar told so many lies on Arise Television that I can’t leave unchallenged. I will react to those lies made by him and his attack dogs line by line at the end Nigeria will know who love this country and who does not”.

Recall that Atiku Abubakar had said on Arise Tv that his decision to chose the governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate in Wike’s absence is because he sees governor Okowa as someone he can work seamlessly with.
