Group Of Chinese Allegedly Murder A Nigerian Student In Philippines

On Sunday, 22nd October, a student identified as, Michael Ojuola, took to the micro-blogging platform, ‘X’ formerly ‘twitter’ to share a disheartening post, alleging that his friend, Ikem, who is a medical student, has been murdered by a group of Chinese in the Republic of Philippines.
He revealed that he was brutally beaten up and wounded, after he was tied up by the group, leading to his painful demise.
He beckoned on the Chairman of Nigerians In Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and the Philippines authority to look into the issue, and ensure that justice is served.
Some of his post reads;
“A friend of mine, A Nigerian Medical Student named Ikem, studying in the Republic of Philippines was brutally murdered by a group of Chinese.
“They tied his hands up, covered his mouth and was beaten blue-black until he gave up the gh0st.
“This should never be allowed to get swept under the carpet regardless of the relationship btw the Philippines and China.!
“This is so inhuman and barbaric! I can’t even think straight at the moment cos of the horrific videos I’m getting right now from the hospital.”
