“How Enugu State Governor-elect, Peter MBA Backstabbed Me”– Chimaroke Nnamani

Former governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani appears not to have moved on from his electoral loss on the 18th of March, 2023.

The former governor of Enugu State who publicly supported the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) against his own party’s presidential candidate, was latter expelled by the  National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) over his proven anti-party activities.

Consequently, Mr. Chimaroke Nnamani was defeated in the Enugu-east senatorial election by the candidate of the Labour Party (LP) ,Kelvin Chukwu.

Interestingly, the former governor has consistently engaged in blame game with the latest being the Enugu State governor-elect, Peter Mba who also is from same senatorial district as Chimaroke Nnamani. Peter Mba prior to his election, had identified with the Obidient political movement at the expense of Mr. Chimaroke Nnamani’s ebeano political movement. He also reported to have aligned with Chimaroke Nnamani political foe, Sullivan Chime.

Through his Twitter handle, Chimaroke Nnamani lamented that he never expected to be betrayed by the Enugu State governor-elect, Peter Mba. He added that his betrayal comes amid many and that he finds it difficult identifying the reason behind Peter Mba’s unexpected backstabbing.

“Peter MBA’s Betrayal is one more betrayal too many. I have difficulty processing it. I must confess #Chimaroke”, he tweeted.
