How Pius Akinyelure Saved President From Being Arrested And Jailed In US
Former Lagos east senatorial aspirant, Babatunde Gbadamosi has claimed that one Pius Akinyelure Saved President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from being arrested and jailed in the United States.
According to Babatunde Gbadamosi who made the claim on his X (Twitter) handle, Tinubu’s ex-boss at Mobil Nigeria, Pius Akinyelure gave Tinubu a tipoff about plan by Mobil oil to lure him to US in the disguise of Training so that he will be arrested and persecuted in US over undisclosed offense.
“I heard once that a certain Pius Akinyelure saved Bola Tinubu from arrest by Mobil Nigeria when they tried to use a training trip to lure him to the US for prosecution. Akinyelure was his line manager, apparently, and allegedly chose to be his brother’s keeper.
“It was, reportedly, at this point that “Bola Ahmed Tinubu” exited Mobil and attached himself to Dapo Sarunmi, whom he eventually stabbed in the back.
“APC members can confirm the esteem in which Yekini Amoda Ogunlere holds Pius Akinyelure. Mobil Nigeria veterans can also weigh in on this”, he tweeted.
Also, Pius Akinyelure in an interview had confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu worked at Mobil Oil as a senior auditor for a few years before he resigned to join politics.
“We employed him as senior Auditor. Few years later, Tinubu carried out a very comprehensive audit like never before which indicted many Directors including the MD of Mobil, and this led to the suspension of the MD. The company now needed a new Treasurer who will renew the battered image of the company which came about as a result of Tinubu’s Audit, so we the remaining Directors thought that only the man who did the audit was in best position to help the company out. And he was appointed as the Treasurer”, he said during the interview.
