“I Told Nigerians I Will Speak”, Wike Finally Reveals His Agreement With Atiku Abubakar Which He Has Broken (Video)

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) internal crisis appears not to be getting to its end even as the opposition party looks forward to reclaiming power at the federal level in 2023.

Wike who had promised Nigerians a few weeks ago that he would disclose to Nigerians the reason for his dissatisfaction with the PDP’s national party leadership and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has declared that he will start speaking about it henceforth.

In the video embedded below, Wike noted that it was time he started speaking his grievances resulting from PDP’s national leadership’s alleged hypocrisy.

He explained that following his loss of the PDP’s presidential primary election to Atiku Abubakar during the party’s national convention that Atiku Abubakar visited his Abuja residence two days after the convention. According to him, Atiku informed him at the meeting that he ( Wike) is very important to the party’s anticipated victory at the presidential election next year.

He added that Atiku emphatically suggested that it was unjust for Ayu Iyorchia to remain the party’s national chairman following his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate. Wike who challenged Atiku to deny his claims, noted that Atiku said that “Ayu Iyorchia must resign”.

Wike further questions why Atiku Abubakar has made a U-turn on his promise as well as Ayu Iyorchia who he said had severally promised to resign his position should a northerner emerge the party’s presidential flag bearer.
