Jay Jay Okocha Advices Victor Osimhen On What To Do Over Napoli TikTok Video Embarrassment
Legendary Nigerian footballer, Jay Jay Okocha has offered some pieces of advice to Super Eagle’s sensational striker and FC Napoli player, Victor Osimhen following Napoli’s controversial TikTok videos which mocked Victor Osimhen after he missed a penalty against Bologna.
A report by News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has it that Jay Jay Okocha commended Victor Osimhen on how he was able to handle the controversy, preventing it from affecting his field performance and mentality.
He said the super eagle’s forward remains a prominent name in Europe which prominent teams want to have; hence, he suggested that Victor Osimhen must meticulously weigh his options on whether to leave Napoli FC or not. He advised the player against making decision based on the mocking TikTok videos by Napoli Social media handler.
“The future is for Osimhen to decide, but I don’t think that his decision to leave Napoli FC should be based on the Tik Tok post alone; he should weigh his options.
“Osimhen should know what is best for him, whether to continue in Napoli or elsewhere seek a new challenge. I don’t think he should narrow his decision to a Tik Tok post,” he said.
Napoli have long deleted the controversial video; however, their explanation did not in anyway show remorse or formal apology to Victor Osimhen whose agent revealed that he was considering taking legal action against the club.
