Joe Igbokwe’s Surprising Reaction To Tinubu Excluding Igbos From His Presidential Transition Committee
Special adviser to the Lagos State government on Drainage and Waterway, also chieftain a of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe has expressed displeasure at the 13-man list of Tinubu’s presidential transition committee which utterly excluded the southeastern Nigerian.
The president-elect had drafted a thirteen- man list which he forwarded to the secretary of the Federation, Boss Mustapha to comprise the presidential transition committee. The thirteen-man raised some eyebrows as Igbos were not included.
Interestingly, as an ardent supporter of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Joe Igbokwe who hails from the southeastern part of Nigeria, Anambra precisely, took to his Facebook page to express his concern remotely.
He doubted if the thirteen-man list of Tinubu’s presidential transition committee is real. According to him, such a list which excluded Ndi Igbo can not be the actual list sent to Secretary of the Federation. He employed the public to investigate whether the list is real or fake.

“Please let someone help me to investigate this: can it be true that Asiwaju Transition Committee was formed without any single Igbo on the list? I’d not want to believe it is true. May it not be true”, he wrote on his Facebook page.
