In reaction to the speculations, veteran investigative journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo, through her Twitter handle, stated that E-money is not a drug cartel and was not into drug deals with Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In her words: E-Money the Chairman of Five Star Music and group is no drug cartel manager let alone for Tinubu. Emeka has worked in shipping and freight for a long time but to say his containers were never opened because it contained cocaine?”.
