Kemi Olunloyo Amid Speculation On Drug Link, Reveals The Actual Relationship Between E-money And Bola Tinubu

The Nigeria social media space was awash of speculations bordering on alleged suspicious relationship between Emeka Okonkwo better known as the E-money and the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

A controversial faceless Instagram blogger, Gistlover had in one of its recent articles alleged that Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose original name, according to Gistlover, is Amoda Ogunlere, was a drug trafficker.

Recall also that Investigative journalist, David Hundeyin had published a few weeks ago record of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s drug money forfeiture trial in United States of America.

Court records referenced by David Hundeyin and contained in a US website: PlainSite, show that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in 1993, arraigned before an Illinois Northern District Court on the 10th of April, 1993. Records show that the presiding judge,  John A. Nordberg ruled that Bola Tinubu forfeit four hundred and sixty thousand US dollars in a First Heritage Bank which bore Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s name to the United States Government.

David Hundeyin also a few weeks after publishing Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s drug money forfeiture trial, published   how Bola Tinubu was accused of being complicit and beneficiary of Ken Sarowiwa’s travail and subsequent death relating to his environmental activism against Shell Oil

Consequently, picture of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Emoney sparked speculations online as many in reaction, alleged that Emoney might as well be into drug trafficking due to his alleged secret dealings with Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In reaction to the speculations, veteran investigative journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo, through her Twitter handle, stated that E-money is not a drug cartel and was not into drug deals with Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In her words: E-Money the Chairman of Five Star Music and group is no drug cartel manager let alone for Tinubu. Emeka has worked in shipping and freight for a long time but to say his containers were never opened because it contained cocaine?”.
