Khaid Reveals How Rema Refused To Help Him, Tells Him To “Take Heart” (Video)

Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon popularly known as Khaid has revealed in an interview how singer, Rema refused to help him at the emerging stage of his music career.

The 22 year-old singer who is currently signed to Neville music record claimed that he pleaded with Rema to kindly show his music video to Nigeria music mogul, Don Jazzy. According to him, he wished Don Jazzy would offer him a contract at the Mavins Records. However, his hope was dashed because Rema ignored his messages and did not respond.

“I texted Rema and begged him with all emotions and prayers in me to show my video to Don Jazzy”,  Khaid said.

The young song writer and rapper brought himself into limelight through his song ” with you” which he released in 2022 under Neville record label.

He was nominated for the 2023 Headies Award under Rookies of the year category.
