Lady Crushed To D€ath By Overhead Water Storage Tank In Benin

On Friday, 11th August, Mrs Beatrice Amadi while in a chat with News Agency Of Nigeria (NAN), narrated how her daughter, Joy Amadi, died after an overhead water tank fell on her.

She revealed that on 4th August, her deceased daughter who recently completed her National Youth Service (NYSC), was in her room helping her to shell melon, when a tank containing water, installed on a neighbour’s new building fell on their roof, penetrated their building and cr¥shed her to d€ath.

The bereaved who is a teacher at a private school, further revealed that she witnessed the incident because she did not go to work that day.

However, a resident within the environ while addressing the incident, revealed that the tragic incident took place on at Enagbare Street in Ikpoba Okha LGA, Edo State.

He blamed the incident on the botched job done by the engineer who handled the project and installation of the overhead tank. He also revealed that Police has arrested the site engineer.
