Man’s Hand Chopped Off By Industrial Machine In Ogun

Days after report emerged online revealing how a worker at an industry in Logbara village, Owode Egba, Ogun State, had his hand chopped off by an industrial machine.

The Ogun Police command has started an investigation into the incident, to ascertain how the employee got his hand chopped off while carrying out his duty.

The state police spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola via a released report stated that after
proper questioning the administrative manager of the factory, Ibidun Abiodun revealed that victim identified as Jeremiah Sulaiman, was in charge of handling machines and cleaning them.

The victim was rushed to Babcock University Teaching Hospital Ileshan after the incident took place by his supervisor and the manager.

It was further revealed that the state commissioner of Police had been briefed and he gave direction for the victim’s family and the company management to meet in his office for further investigation and resolution.
