Ogun: Tenant Arrested For Biting Off Neighbour’s Ear Over Electricity Bill

A lady identified, OpeOluwa Agoro, has been arrested for allegedly biting off the right ear of her neighbour, Oloruntofunmi Folorunso during a verbal jab that ensued between both due to electricity bill.
This incident took place on Sunday, 27th August, in Oremeta Street, Igode area, Ogun State.
According to the report, the electricity distribution company in charge of the area, disconnected the light in the Compound where the two tenants stay, due to unpaid bills and Folorunso was appointed to collect bills from all tenants for the reconnection of their light.
It was alleged that everyone paid for the bills, except Agoro who engaged into verbal jab with Folorunso and before anyone could intervene, Agoro held Folorunso’s cloth, and bit off his right ear with her teeth.
However, other tenants rushed the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment, while Agoro was arrested by the police at Igode Division.
Affirming the incident, the state police PRO, Odutola Omolola, revealed that the suspect has been arrested, while the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
He further stated that investigation is ongoing and the police will ensure justice is served.
