OSUN: Woman D!es After Being Sh0t In The Bathroom
On Thursday, 21st September, a resident of Oke Akute Area, Iba, Osun State, identified as, Adijat, d!ed at an undisclosed private hospital in Iree, where she was taking treatment after being sh0t .
According to report, the deceased who is from the Fulani tribe, and a mother to a three-year-old baby was taking her bath, on Tuesday when the ugly incident happened.
Confirming the incident, a resident within the environ who pleaded anonymity, stated that the incident took place around 10:pm, when she was attacked in the bathroom by an unknown person.
She was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Iree, but was confirmed dead today around 5am.
However, also speaking on the incident, Osun State NSCDC P.R.O, Kehinde Adeleke, revealed that on hearing what happened, operatives of the command immediately visited the scene, and they are working closely with other security agentd to ensure that the perpetrators of the crime is nabbed and justice served.
In her words;
“On Tuesday 19th September 2023, at about 2200hrs, a Fulani lady, identified simply as Adija, was sh0t by some yet-to-be-identified gunmen. The incident happened at Oke Akute Area of Iba when the victim was in the bathroom.
“Adijat, a mother of a three-month-old girl, however, gave up the ghost today (Thursday) 21st September at about 0500hrs. We are joining other security agencies to unravel the mystery behind the incident.” She said.
