Peter Obi Breaks Silence On Alleged Picture With Simon Ekpa

An alleged photo of Peter Obi and Finland based Biafra nation agitator, Simon Ekpa has been making the rounds on social media.

Simon Ekpa has been accused of illegally enforcing sit-at-home across five southeastern states in view of compelling the Federal Government of Nigeria to release the detained leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

However, the Obidatti media has dismissed the picture circulating online as a deliberate attempt by mischief makers to malign the goodwill of Peter Obi. In a statement released by the head of Obidatti media, Diran Onifade, he stated that the photo is Photoshop.

“Obi-Datti Media office notes that the scenario is exactly what played out in the photoshopped picture of the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi supposedly standing with the Finland-based irritant Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa all in a desperate move to drag Obi’s name into disrepute by linking him with the ugly story that Ekpa has become in Nigeria.”

He further explained that a photo of Peter Obi with an admirer on Virgin Flight, taken on Friday, July 21st, 2023, was dubiously manipulated

“For clarity, the picture was taken by Obi standing with an admirer on a Virgin Flight on Friday, July 21, 2023. In trying to authenticate their filthy and disgustingly dirty act, they inserted the picture of Aisha Yusuf behind them”.
