Peter Obi Speaks On Joining Forces With Atiku, Kwakwanso To Wrestle Power From Tinubu

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for Nigeria’s February 25th, 2023 presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi has finally reacted to report that he will form an alliance with Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwakwanso.

A few days ago, Kwakwanso paid Atiku Abubakar a visit in his hometown, Yola. The meeting is said to be about an underground plan for a rerun presidential election even though the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) is yet to give its official ruling on the suits challenging Tinubu’s presidential victory.

Following Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwakwanso’s meeting, local Nigerian newspapers reported that Peter Obi also held a meeting with Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwakwanso on the same rerun election plot.

However, while speaking in Benin City, Edo State, during his morale boosting visit to the members of Labour Party in Edo State ahead of the state’s local government election, Peter Obi described the report of his forming allegiance with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the New Nigeria  People’s Party (NNPP) as false. He said “half of the the things you are hearing is false”.

Peter Obi further stated that Labour Party has come to stay and that the leadership of the party is committed to realizing a new Nigeria through moving the Nigeria’s economy from consumption to production.
