There are calls for the arrest of the former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Kwankwoso by some members of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

According to the chairman of the APC, Kano state chapter, Abdullahi Abbas, a statement credited to former governor Rabiu Kwankwoso requires that he be questioned by the Nigeria’s security so as for him to further provide concrete evidence for his allegation against the Tinubu led federal government.

Kwankwoso had claimed that the federal government action in securing the deposed 15th emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero at his Nasarawa palace, amounted to aiding terrorism.

Kwankwoso further argued that the federal government by deploying security personnels to secure the 15th emir of Kano against the will of Kano state government, is breeding Boko Haram terrorists in Kano state.

Speaking to some newsmen in response to Kwankwoso, the Kano state chairman of APC, Abdullahi Abbas called on the Nigeria security to arrest and investigate the former governor over his statement.

“We wish to call on Nigeria’s security agents to arrest and investigate this man to reveal the identity of the people he referred to as enemies of the state working for the Federal Government to breed Boko Haram terrorists and insurgents,” the APC chairman demanded”.
