Police Reveal What Were Discovered In Mohbad Lekki Home As Well As CCTV
On Friday, 6th of October, the Lagos State Police Command held a press conference on their ongoing investigation over the death of late Afro hip hop singer, Mohbad.
The commissioner of police, Lagos State Command, Idowu Owohunwa while speaking at the press conference, disclosed that late Mohbad sustained injury while fighting his childhood friend, Owodunni Ibrahim, Primeboy. He explained that the injury contributed to the death of the singer.
Speaking further on their other investigative efforts, he revealed that police visited the Lekki home of the late singer where some items were discovered; items which includes used syringes and injections. The Commissioner of police confirmed the earlier statement by the auxiliary nurse who was brought to treat Mohbad in his home that she administered tetanus shot on the late singer.
Also, the police explained that the CCTV installed in Mohbad’s Lekki apartment was examined with the aim of getting some footages relating to what transpired before the singer’s death; however, the CCTV is said to have been out of order, not functional even before the singer’s death.
The police also spoke on the involvement of Naira Marley and Sam Larry in the death of Mohbad. Naira Marley and Sam Larry are accused by the police of cyber bullying Mohbad as well as harassing him before his death.
