Singer, Shallipopi Spills More Secret About Music Industry
Nigerian Rapper and singer, Crown Uzama, professionally known as, ‘ Shallipopi’ in a recent chat with ‘Zero Conditions podcast’ anchor, Excel Joab affirmed the assertion that music business is very lucrative.
The Obapluto crooner, revealed that he heard that there is money in music industry, but never knew it was that much, till he got his biggest hit with his song ‘Obapluto’ this year.
He likened the financial gains in music to that gotten through ritual practices. Even if he stops singing, his released songs will still fetch alot of fund to his pocket.
When being quizzed on how he do manage financial responsibilities, and demands from family and friends at his young age.
He stated that he doesn’t calculate or think about tomorrow, once his family calls for financial assistance, he sends money to them, because his music keeps generating funds.
Some of his words;
“You will never understand music money. Music money is like ritual, there’s too much money in music that you cannot understand at all. Even if you’re an artiste that came out in one month and your song is just big, no worry.
Me now, I no dey balance anything; if my family request, I dey give because I know that, the music will not stop. Even if I stop singing, the music I’ve dropped will continue giving me money”. He said.
