The Actual Reason Qatar Government Denied President Muhammadu Buhari Visa Revealed

News broke out on Monday August 5th that president Muhammadu Buhari was denied entry visa to Quarter.

President Muhammadu Buhari was to visit the Arab nation on 11th -12th of September on the invitation of His Royal Highness, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar.

Correspondence between the Nigeria’s ministry of foreign affairs and the Qatar Embassy in Abuja, dated 19th of August, 2022, shows that president Muhammadu Buhari was denied entry visa to Qatar due to the days he chose to visit the Arab nation

The letter reads in part that President Muhammadu Buhari  “accepted to visit Qatar on 11-12 September 2022 on the invitation of H.H Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar”.

The letter further states that president Muhammadu Buhari was denied entry visa to Qatar because the days of his planned visit “are not suitable”. In the letter, president Buhari is also enjoined to reapply for visa in 2023

However, Nigerians have been speculating differently from the reason outlined by the Qatar Embassy in Nigeria for the denial of President Buhari an entry visa to the country.
