Video Shows Moment Judge Read Ike Ekweremmadu’s Sentencing In UK

Former Deputy Senate President of Nigeria and former Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Ike Ekweremadu and wife were sentenced by a UK court to 10 years and 6 years imprisonment respectively over, human trafficking and organ harvesting.

The medical doctor, Obinna Obeta who facilitated the organ harvesting plot, was also sentenced to ten years and six months of improvement. He is also deprived his licence to practice as a medical doctor in the United Kingdom.

The three were convicted earlier in March having been found guilty of trafficking  one 21 Year-old Nigerian in a conspiracy to harvest his organ for a transplant to Ekweremmadu’s sick daughter, Sonia Ekweremmadu.
