WATCH VIDEO: Former NDDC Board Chairperson, Lauretta Onochie Stranded In UK, Reportedly Kicked Out By Family Members After Fleeing Nigeria
Days after President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu sacked the board and management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), which was led by Lauretta Onochie, and approved a new board for the body.
A video emerged online showing the former Chairperson NDDC, Lauretta Onochie, with her luggages stranded in the United Kingdom, as it was alleged that she was kicked out by family members after fleeing Nigeria to the UK.
It was alleged that she left the country, following the financial scandals that erupted during her tenure as NDDC chairperson.
It was also revealed that when she got to the UK, and went straight to stay with her cousin, who lives in Barking town in East London, England, but she was kicked out.
According to a family member who pleaded anonymity while speaking to Sahara Reporters, Onochie tried to play the pity card game with her cousin’s emotion, by stating that she was a victim of a witch-hunt by Tinubu’s government, and she need somewhere to hide for a moment, so she can’t be traced.
It was further revealed that when she was in power, she abandoned her family members until she needed their help.
