WATCH VIDEO: Kano Residents Stage Protest Against Proposed Deployment Of Military In Niger By ECOWAS

Amidst the order by Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS) leaders to deploy military forces of the member States to be on standby in Niger Republic to fight and restore back democracy in the nation.

On Saturday, 12th August, residents of Kano State hit the road to stage a protest against the proposal made by ECOWAS to restore back democracy in the country.

In a video that emerged online, the protesters where seen with placards, Nigeria and Niger Republic’s flag as they clamour for peaceful resolution.

“Nigeriens are our brothers, Nigeriens are also our family. Niger is ours, we don’t want war, war against Niger is injustice, a plot by the western forces” They chant
