Lagos High Court Sentence TikToker To 3 Years Imprisonment Over Allegation Made Against Actress, Eniola Badmus

The Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced Nigerian TikToker, Okoye Blessing Nwakego, popularly known as, ‘Ego’ to three years imprisonment over an allegation she made against actress, Eniola Badmus.

Recall that Ego via her TikTok page, alleged that Eniola Badmus is a procuress, as she claimed that She approached her friend, who is engaged and tried to link her up to men in exchange for money.

However On Wednesday, 2nd August, 2023, Ego was arraigned before a Federal High Court in Lagos and was found guilty of felony and cyber-stalking.

Which is punishable under section 27 of the cybercrimes (prohibition, prevention, etc) act 2015” between December 2022 and July 2023 in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of the honorable court.

On count one, Ego was sentenced to one year in prison with the possibility of a N50,000 fine while on count two, she was sentenced to two years in prison with a N100,000 fine but she agreed pay the N150k fine in order to be released.
