Nigerian actor and business man, Chinedu Ikedieze popularly known as, ‘Aki’ while in a recent chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, shared the challenges he faced while growing up due to his retarded growth.

According to the actor, while he was growing up, his mother took him to a hospital for medical examination and after checkup, the doctor told his mother that he has stunted growth.

At that time he has never had about the word ‘Stunted’ or ‘retarded’ growth and his mother was not educated. So he picked up his dictionary to find out the meaning and that was how he started being depressed.

He further revealed that this led to other students in school bully!ng him over his growth, to the extent he thought of commiting su!cide .
