WATCH VIDEO: “Why I Quitted My Job At Dangote’s Noodles Factory” – Singer, Bella Shmurda Shares

In a recent chat with Cool Fm, Popular Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda revealed what led to his immediate resignation from Dangote’s noodles factory in Lagos.
According to the singer, one Saturday morning while everyone was busy working, one of their colleague fell into steaming industrial oil while carrying out his assigned duty and died instantly.
This created fear in him and he submitted his uniform, went home and never came back again.
In his words;
“It was like a Saturday morning. I went to work. We started working already. We just heard everybody screaming that someone fell into hot oil.”
“He was cleaning the roof, so he fell down. In the factory, there is this oil that the Indomie [noodles] pass through to get hard because it is actually soft. It will pass through the oil to get hard, then it will come inside the nylon, and then you will pack it inside the packet.
“So, the guy fell inside the oil. It took long before they brought him out. Guy, him don fry. Omo, that day ehn, the clothes wey dem dey give us, I just off am, off their shoe, I just dey go. I said I no dey work again.”
However, when questioned about the way he manage to collaborate with other artiste and some of the challenge he is facing.
The ‘new born Fela’ crooner revealed that he only collaborate with people who he is comfortable with, because he doesn’t like chasing people around.
He further stated that he feels that he is better than some giants in the industry when it comes to making good hit music.
