One time presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has warned his political ally and presidential candidate of his party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be wary of the Obidients movement.
Adamu Garba reminded the All Progressive Congress (APC) of the wave of youths-inspired electoral victories across some African countries.
He enjoined his party to learn from the victory of youths-backed William Ruto in the just concluded Kenya’s presidential election as well as that of Hakainde Hichilema in Zambia.
He warned that with the soaring Obidients movement across the geographical zones of the Federation that the ruling All Progressive Congress must be cogent and strategic in its presidential campaign necessary for them to claim victory at the 2023 presidential election.
“A party, RFP, founded by Sam in March 2022 in Lesotho won the Presidency as a result of young people’s votes. A similar case happed in Kenya & Zambia, all in 2022”, he tweeted
“That is why we shouldn’t underestimate this obidients APC must have a modern strategic campaign to secure victory”.
