Why Tinubu’s Son Should Not Be Condemned Over Presidential Jet- Atiku’s Spokesperson, Bwala Daniel
Media aide to former vice president Atiku Abubakar, Bwala Daniel has defended son of Nigeria’s president, Seyi Tinubu amid backlash from Nigerians over his recent use of the presidential jet for his personal visit to Kano to Polo a sport event.
The son of the president was hugely criticized over his having access to the presidential jet for his personal use. However, Bwala Daniel, Atiku Abubakar’s media aide has surprisingly spoken in defence of Seyi Tinubu whom he said worked so hard for his father’s presidential election victory.
He argued through his Twitter handle that Seyi Tinubu by his contribution to president Bola Tinubu’s electoral victory, deserves such a privilege.
He explained that rather than unfairly criticize Seyi Tinubu, questions should be asked about who granted him such an access to the presidential jet.
In Bwala Daniel’s words: “To be fair to @STinubu Seyi Tinubu, he is a member of the first family and has worked hard enough fo this father @officialABAT.
“Tinubu’s presidential position of today, I dare say more than 7 governors combined. Besides, if many people in this government who worked against democracy could enjoy same privilege, I do not think he should be visited with indignation like that. Besides, he doesn’t have the power to just hop into the jet, some body in the hierarchy of govt. made it happen. Let’s point the fingers at the right direction”.
