Wike Replies Governor Fubara’s No Issues Claims, Reveals The Cause Of Their Fight, Says He Must Be Impeached (Video)

Former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has responded to Governor Sim Fubara claim of no issues in Rivers State.

Governor Fubara yesterday in a press statement, stated that there is no political crisis in Rivers State especially as regarding his reported feud with Nyesom Wike. He said issues in Rivers State are internal and will be resolved internally.

However, Wike has maintained that he is not deterred by speculations and criticisms by the masses over attempted impeachment of governor Sim Fubara.

He dispelled speculations about his demanding 25% of Rivers State allocation from the Federal Government as well as being the dictator of the policies to be implemented by Fubara government. Wike said such speculations are peddled by supporters of Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar because he did not support their presidential bid as well as those he revoked their CEO as the FCT minister.

He suggested that his feud with Fubara is linked to his political structure in Rivers State. Wike further threatened that his political structure in Rivers State cannot be hijacked from him by anyone. He warned that impeachment is not a military coup as it is in line with Nigeria’s constitution.
