Yul Edochie has revealed his father’s response to his decision to become a televangelist.

Yul Edochie sparked reactions last week when he revealed his decision to start an online church: True Salvation Ministry (TSM) a few months after his decision to go polygamous.

The actor cum pastor has now disclosed that his father, Pete Edochie has given him his blessing and a go-ahead in his televangelism. According to him, his father called him to inform him that he watched his first program and that he was impressed by his performance. He added that the veteran actor further suggested bible passages he might likely explore in his subsequent sermons.

In his words: “So yesterday, my father called me and congratulated me for successfully holding my first live program as a minister of God.

He said he watched it and he loved it.

He then gave me some bible verses to read and talk about in my program.

What more can I ask for from a father?

Thank you for the support, Dad.
