Why I won’t support Tinubu in 2027– Reno Omokri

Controversial self-acclaimed pastor and political commentator, Reno Omokri has disclosed that he will not support president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 at the expense of Atiku Abubakar.

Reno Omokri made the disclosure during a podcast with Seun Okinbaloye. He narrated that he was the brain behind the emergence of Mr. Peter Obi as Atiku Abubakar’s running mate in 2019. According to him, Atiku Abubakar inquired from him who would become his running mate. He would consult with former president Goodluck Ebere Jonathan who also recommended Peter Obi.

Speaking further on Atiku’s presidential bid, he revealed that he would not support Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 should he seek reelection. He said such would be dishonour to Atiku.

“Atiku chose Obi so after a man had done me just great honour, I will now turn around and be supporting his opponent in the next election?

“I can’t do that, if Atiku decide to contest in 2027 and get the PDP’s presidential candidate, I’m duty bound to support him.”
