A few days after his wife Simi lamented over economic hardship in Nigeria, Adekunle Gold tells his fans to come to his aid

Nigerian music superstar, Adekunle Gold has taunted his fans and followers over the dwindling value of naira at the expense of dollar.

Adekunle Gold while taunting his fans and followers on social media, enjoined them to make him happy by sending money to him. The Afro hip hop singer disclosed that he has rescinded his earlier argument that money does not make one happy. He stated that he is indeed in need of people to send dollars to him so that he could be happy.

“The way I am tired and sad today, as I dey like this, na only money fit make me smile.”

“And yes, I know I said money no dey bring happiness, but today, I changed my mind. So if you like me and you want me to smile, send dollars”, he said in a video he posted his social media account. 

This comes a few days after his wife, Simisola Kosoko better known as Simi disclosed that she is inundated with appeals for financial assistance from her friends, fans, and relatives. Simi thereafter enjoined Nigeria leadership to strive harder necessary to ameliorate the rising economic hardship in the country.
