Enugu: Woman Commits Suic!de After Dropping Kids In Police Station
Amid high cost of living, a mother of three kids reportedly committed suic!de in Enugu State, after dropping her kids off at Ogui Police Station in the Enugu North Local Government Area of the state.
According to report the deceased, whose identity is yet unknown, arrived the police station with her three kids, and left without saying any word to anybody.
She stripped herself naked, dash out of the station and ran into a moving vehicle, that crushed her to death instantly.
Briefing news men about the incident, a senior police officer, revealed that the eldest among the kids, when being asked of their father’s whereabout said, “Our father got lost.”
She was not able to give further information about their family and residential address.
However, the wife of Enugu State governor, Mrs.Nkechinyere Mbah, who visited the Police station, pledged to sponsor the deceased kids education and upkeeps through her foundation.
Addressing inhabitants of the state through newsmen, she urged depressed individuals to speak up and seek for help than withholding the pains inside, which might trigger them towards taking unfavorable decisions.
