“Upon All The Hardship In Naija, Christians Are Shouting Thunderous Amen… “Actor, Amakaeze Criticizes Pastor Adeboye Over Prayer

Popular Nigerian actor, Emeka Amakaeze after watching a video of Pastor, Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG), praying for his church members, criticized the declaration made and affirmation of the prayer.

The video which seems to be an old video from the church’s 2021 Annual Convention, showed Pastor Adeboye making a declaration that Christians from other churches would bow to his church members, while they shouted Amen in affirmation to the prayer.

However, this triggered alot of buzz online, with Netizens calling for the Clergy’s retirement, as some opined that old age might be factors leading to some of his trending statements that weren’t sitting well with the public.

Some stated that Christianity has become a business center, where head of churches and their congregants sees others from other denomination of Christianity as their rival

Nollywood actor, Emeka Amakaeze also shared his concern about the prayer via the comment section of a popular blog, revealing how annoying the declaration is, considering the level of hardship in the country.

He further stated that we have other important issues such as hunger, kidnappings, and terrorist activities then wasting time praying against other Christians who did nothing.
