Housewife Pushes Husband To Death From Two-Storey Building In Ebonyi
On Tuesday, 21st February, a housewife reportedly pushed her husband, Mr Nwoga Maduabuchi, from a two- storey building, during a heated argument, leading to his death.
According to the report online, the deceased is from Akparata village, Igbeagu community in the Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, and his wife (suspect), from Uburu community, in the Ohaozara Local Government Area and lived in Abakaliki, the state capital.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity stated that the deceased was arguing with his second wife (the perpetrator), who is pregnant, over a family issue, when he got pushed.
His words partly;
“He had two wives. The first wife is from Izzi Local Government Area; while the second wife is from Uburu, in the Ohaozara Local Government Area of the state.
“It’s a family matter. But the second became so enraged over the matter and acted the way she did, by pushing her husband down from the two-storey building. That’s the height of it. That’s the height of wickedness.”
Addressing the incident, the Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ukandu Joshua, while speaking with the Punch, claimed he is yet to be informed of the incident by the Divisional Police Officer, and he has no idea where the incident took place.
