Primate Elijah Ayodele tells Tinubu his minister sabotaging his government and who he must sack

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the head of the Nri Evangelical Spiritual Church has advised president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to sack the minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu.

Primate Elijah Ayodele on Tuesday informed president Tinubu that Bayo Adelabu’s inability to tackle Nigeria’s electricity challenges, undermines his administration’s performance and record.

In a statement signed and released by Primate Ayodele’s media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, he argued that constant electricity supply to Nigerians will alleviate the current economic hardship Nigerians are grappling with.

According to him, Bayo Adelabu has failed to utilized his office to solve Nigeria’s electricity problem and should be sacked over underperformance.

“Tinubu should sack the minister of power, Bayo Adelabu if he wants to reform the power sector.

“State of emergency should be declared in that sector because nothing is happening. If there’s power supply, this hardship will be minimal,” he said.

He thereafter enjoined president Tinubu to increase the salaries of the Nigeria’s soldiers and Nigeria Police before the implementation of state police.
