2024 Grammy: Burna Boy, Davido, Tems, Others Lose In All Categories

What a painful news to begin With this week, as Nigerian music stars, Davido, Burna Boy, Olamide, Asake and Ayra Starr lost in all categories they were nominated for the 2024 Grammy Awards.

The award was held on 4th February 2024 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles in the United States of America.

Hours before the event took place, Nigerians on X formerly twitter, were showing big support to Singer Davido who was nominated in three categories, expecting that he will bag at least one award.

In the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category South-African singer Tyla won the award with her 2023 hit track, “Water” and Burna Boy and Davido lost in all nominated categories.

Singer, Tems who bagged one last year in the Best Melodic Rap category for her collaboration with Future and Drake on the track ‘Wait for You’, lost this year in the Song Written for Visual Media category.
